Chris Evans, AKA Captain America grabbed eyeballs and headlines recently for a rather embarrassing reason. He accidentally posted some exceedingly NSFW (not safe for work) image on his Instagram, which he promptly deleted; but not before the fandom was in a ferment about the whole thing. Evans has however, cleverly turned the whole thing into something positive – here’s what happened:
There was a picture posted accidentally on his verified Instagram account and quickly deleted.
The 6.4 million Insta followers and 14M Twitter followers were in a tizzy.
It was meme time!
For his 6M Instagram followers what turned up briefly on the page. was a shock.
A lot of people were going fairly insane with the whole thing.
While some were asking if screenshots had been taken, the real fans decided to do their bit.
They felt that Evans should not be humiliated for something was clearly an accident.
Evans thanked his fans for their support when he was on a TV show. He also tweeted this, using his fame to send out this positive message encouraging people to cast their vote in the upcoming November 2020 US Presidential elections.
They thought this was a clever thing to do.
Then there were those who indicated that they would take Captain America up on his suggestion.

Actor Jamie Lee Curtis expressed her support and said she was proud of Evans.
Many other celebs also came out in support.
This, said many of the tweeple, made Evans really worthy of the Captain America title (also a reference to when he was able to lift Thor's hammer in Endgame).
Some of the tweeple wanted to know if Evans was, in fact trying to get everyone's attention with the 'accidental' nude picture.
Unlike Indian actors who choose to stay mum on important matters because of commercial concerns or the fear of a backlash, Chris Evans has had the courage to speak truth to power in the past. He has called out the President of his country for his wrongs --- for many of the tweeple, that makes a real Captain America --- 'accidental' nude pictures notwithstanding.
