Remember Shweta Basu, Who Created A Lot of Buzz Two Years Ago? Here's What She Is Doing Now

Shweta Basu Prasad, started her career as a child actress in movies and is best remembered for her role in the 2002 film 'Makdee', for which she also won the National Film Award for Best Child Artist.

In 2014, she created a lot of buzz when she was arrested by Hyderabad police during a raid. After this incident, she stayed away from the limelight and stopped doing movies and TV shows.

But, now she is all set to make her comeback in the entertainment industry with a TV show called 'Chandra Nandani'.

This TV show will be produced by none other than Balaji Telefilms of Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. This show is scheduled to be premiered in October, 2016 and will be broadcasted on Star Plus.

In this historical TV series, she will be portraying the character of Nandani, while TV actor Rajat Tokas will play the character of Chandragupta Maurya.

We just hope, this will TV show will mark as the new beginning for her.
