Erica Fernandes is an Indian film actress, who is mostly known for her work in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films. She is currently portraying the lead character of Dr. Sonakshi Bose, in the TV show 'Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi'.

Erica was born in Mangalore to a Konkani-speaking family. After 2010, she started appearing in pageants and among other titles, she won Pantaloons Femina Miss Maharashtra 2011.
While in 2012, she took part in the beauty pageant, Miss India 2012 and finished in the top ten.
She made her acting debut in 2013, with a Tamil film named, 'Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu'. After which she went on to appear in the movies like 'Ninnindale', 'Babloo Happy Hai', 'Virattu', 'Galipatam', and 'Buguri'.
