Bad news for all the fans of the popular reality show Comedy Nights with Kapil. The show will be winding up after witnessing a successful run of three years.

According to the news the last episode of the show is supposed to air on 17th January 2016.

It is said that it was the team's decision to end the show as they are unhappy with the 'step-motherly treatment received from the channel.'

In an interview he said that “Yes, it’s true we told them we would go off air in December, but since they didn’t have a replacement ready, they requested us to continue till January 17."

He also said that the channel is going to be introducing another show on similar lines with similar kind of concept and celebrities.
