Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are one of the most romantic Bollywood couples, who has always given us many relationship goals. Akshay is like a super devoted husband and a super-loving father in real life.
They met for the first time during a shoot for Filmfare magazine, in Mumbai and came closer to each other during the shooting of their movie 'International Khiladi'. Then in 2001, they finally got married and now they are proud parents of two children, Aarav and Nitara.
But, what made Twinkle marry him? Well, in the TV show 'Koffee With Karan', Akshay revealed that when he popped the question about marriage, she agreed but on a condition that she will marry him only if her movie 'Mela' (2000) fails to create magic at the box office.
And luckily, the movie flopped, and soon they got married in 2001, in a hush hush wedding. Since then, they love and support each other, which is the key to a strong relationship.
In an interview, Akshay talked about the secret behind their strong relationship and said, "We keep on discovering new things about each other because we are so different. We are poles apart."
While, Twinkle revealed the romantic side of Akshay and said "Akshay's idea of a romantic date is a six-kilometre jog, followed by 500 crunches... TOGETHER! Eeeeks!"
