Aamir Khan is one of the finest actors in Bollywood, who is known for his perfection in the films. But did you know a few projects that he signed and shot for, got shelved and didn't make it to the big screen?
It was a time travel film by Shekhar Kapur, which starred Raveena Tandon and Naseeruddin Shah along with Aamir Khan in the lead role. It was called off after completing 2/3rd of the film due to some unknown reasons.
This was supposed to be the first collaboration of two biggest stars in the Bollywood, i.e Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan. It also had Madhuri Dixit in the lead role but the film was called off before the shoot. Now, they will be collaborating with each other for another upcoming movie called 'Thugs of Hindustan'.
It was a mythological tale, which was supposed to be made by Rajkumar Santoshi in 1999 and apparently had Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Shahrukh, Anil Kapoor and Sunny Deol in the lead roles. But unfortunately, the film never took off.
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir Khan were supposed to be working together in a film called Lajjo, but due to some issues over rights, the film was called off and got shelved
He was also interested in making a film on K.M. Nanavati case, which has already been covered by a couple of films, including 'Rustom' starring Akshay Kumar. He even met Mrs Sylvia Nanavati, who now resides in London to discuss the film but called off the project as it has been covered already.
