What RCB! You Lost Your Sixth Match on the Trot?

If ever there was a face palm moment in cricket, this is it! The IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore has always been an underperformer in spite of boasting some big stars in its lineup. We've seen no different in IPL 2019 – the team clings tenaciously to its position at the bottom of the table – by losing six consecutive matches!

RCB story so far

IPL Table

As can be seen from the table, RCB have played 6 and lost each match. Their last loss was on Sunday when they played and lost to Delhi Capitals (they set DC a target of 149 losing 8 wickets which DC overtook in the 19th over losing 6 wickets).

On the worst list

One could argue about the sambhar but not the traffic or RCB. Recent performances suggest that RCB’s fortunes are in the doldrums; much like those of team owner Vijay Mallya’s.

Kohli must be furious!

He's known to be an aggressive player and leader. Virat Kohli had to have felt an uncomprehending frustration at the string of losses.

Or really, really upset

Kohli is probably shocked and bewildered and just really upset about the consistently bad performance of his team.

Fans are upset too!

It isn’t just the RCB players and their skipper who are upset… fans renew their hope with each match, only to have those hopes dashed.

It’s the same old story…

…After each match!

Oh! Brutal!

The trolling of RCB and particularly of Kohli has been rather brutal.

Because attitude!

Virat Kohli is all about swag and aggression and attitude. What’s that about some fans want to know.

Some fans are very staunch indeed!

There are those staunch Kohli fans that stand by him no matter what.

A record in the making?

RCB still has a lot of matches to go, but if they continue as they're performing right now, that will be one truly humiliating record to make!

It’s getting a bit dull!

For some cricket fans, the proceedings are starting to get rather dull. Perhaps we need something like this to spice things up?

This idea

Maybe we need an IPL 2nd Division or second string of B Grade teams that don’t quite meet the standard?

Still hopeful

RCB fans are still hopeful of a role reversal or miracle of sorts. For them, HOPE stands for hold on, pain ends.
