A biopic based on the real life of star Indian cricketer M.S. Dhoni is going to be released soon, and the buzz is that he has charged a sum of Rs. 60 crore from the filmmakers for this biopic. So, here we have a few more sports people and the amount they have charged for their biopic.
Paan Singh Tomar - It is said that his family was promised Rs.15 lakh as royalty, but they haven't received any amount from the makers of his biopic 'Paan Singh Tomar', starring, Irrfan Khan.
Mary Kom - Her biopic was a huge hit at the box office, which collected Rs.104 crore worldwide. But as royalty, she allegedly got only Rs. 25 lakh.
Milkha Singh - You may not believe, but he accepted only Rs.1 from the filmmakers for his biopic 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag'. But, it is said that he was promised 10% of the total profit which was allegedly never given to him.
Mohammad Azharuddin - Unlikely, he is the most generous of them all. He didn't charge any amount for his biopic 'Azhar', which stars Emraan Hashmi as the main lead.
