For all you Facebook addicts, some new features are making their way to your Messenger app and you really are going to love them. Allow me to break these features down for you:
A step closer to e-mailing
Just when you thought Facebook has given us a lot of features, its messenger app just went very close to e-mailing. It happened when Facebook connected its messenger app with the Dropbox, which will now help you to send stuff directly from it without downloading. You just have to click the ‘more’ button on your chat, select drop box and then share anything with the friend you are chatting with. Well, your files will be right there in the drop box, but Facebook will send the link to your friend so that he/she can have access to those files. Oh Gmail is going to have to innovate quickly now.
Chat Heads
Along with the super cool drop box feature, Facebook has added chat heads for video calling. This means, you can now chat with your other friends while you are on a video call with someone. So, it will be up to you, whether you want to chat on full screen or not. I am sure it’s a life saver for many of us who have to juggle conversations!
