Cheating on a partner is the worst kind of betrayal right? Well, a lot of people would agree – particularly if it is cheating of the ‘serial’ variety. Someone posted a video about cheating on a partner and it went viral – some agreed, some thought it was hilarious.
So this isn't a partner who regularly cheats on their spouse /significant other. It’s just someone who watches episodes of series on the sly --- it’s cheating of a sort.
It’s not about cheating and it’s not about an open relationship. It’s about watching a series on Netflix, Amazon, HBO etc. on the sly.
The video parodies the usual things people say when they’ve been caught cheating – that there was peer pressure and that they should perhaps see other people.
It’s you not me, say many cheaters.
Sleep cycles may not be compatible – how can viewing be compatible?
Many have been guilty of watching stuff behind their partner's back – they should be doing it together but they cannot wait!
It used to be called viewing etiquette, now apparently it is a form of cheating.
Apparently it’s possible to cheat on your regular cereal as well?
When videos like this go viral, there is plenty of spamming – plus wit like this to be seen.
Couples promise to watch things together – but they end up breaking those promises quite often it would seem.
They cheat and don’t get found out. They don’t confess either.
People keep tabs on their partner’s actions – and viewing.
Don’t you hate those who chatter while watching? Reason enough to cheat, no?
Is this just an attempt to get some attention? This commentator seems to think so.
Some apparently didn’t realise this kind of serial ‘cheating’ was possible and waited three years to watch the next episode of a series. I don’t know if that is faithfulness or stupidity?
