He is one of India’s best loved cricketers and one of most glamorous in the game. Hazel Keech is a British Mauritanian model, film and TV actress. The two were engaged last year and married on 30 november 2016.
Apart from his pyrotechnics on the cricket ground, Yuvraj’s is an inspiring story for other reasons as well: he was diagnosed with a cancerous lump in his lung in 2011. He fought this battle with cancer and returned to world cricket.
There were two wedding ceremonies. The two young people tied the knot at a traditional ceremony at Fatehgarh Sahib near Chandigarh to solemnize the wedding with Sikh rituals. Hazel Keech is now officially Gurbasant Kaur. Yuvraj was seen sporting a full beard and the traditional Sigh pagdi.
There was a second wedding in Goa, this time with Hindu rituals. This is how the bridegroom made his entrance.
