Tata Motors Ad for Ramadan Kareem is #CelebratingGoodness – Find Out More

The Indian company Tata Motors has created an advert for the Middle East on the occasion of Ramadan Kareem. It is all about the goodness of human beings; the caring and the affection that we can show for others around us. The ad has about 2.5 million views in just about a week – and its gone viral for all the right reasons:

The innocence of kids

The ad starts with little kids performing little tasks for their parents: putting away a prayer mat, polishing shoes, offering to carry shopping bags etc. The kids are collecting money for something but we don’t know what it is.

An inclusive message

The short film features people of various races and from different parts of the world. It seems to represent a global microcosm much like the UAE itself; which welcomes people from all over the world; a true salad bowl of humanity!

The message of self-reliance

The kids are looking to collect money, but they don’t want to just ask for it. They perform little chores around the home for their family and relatives in order to earn the reward. This sends out a positive message to the little ones.

The importance of helping others

In the end we realise why the children are collecting the money; it is not for their own selves, but to help someone who is very dear to them.

All about ‘home’

The importance of one's roots; home is underlined in this little film. The little children want to do something nice for their bus driver who gets them safely home every day. They want that he should also be able to visit his own home and hope that their little contributions will help him do this.
