There are some Netflix films that are made for the teens who simply loved them. Others may be altogether darker and more macabre. We take a look at what Netflix has in store for us in the coming months:
This recently released film starring Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, is about military veterans who are attempting a big robbery. “Do we get to use our skills for our own benefit,” asks one of the characters . The vets decide to rob a drug lord when they find that their services to the nation didn’t really make them rich.
This is Netflix’s take on the Bonnie and Clyde saga; the notorious robbers said to have killed 10 law officers and 3 others. Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson decide to be the law enforcement guys who take them down; supported by Governor Ma Fergusson played by Kathy Bates. The movie releases on 29th March.
Jenny (Gina Rodriguez), Blair (Brittany Snow) and Erin (DeWanda Wise) are best pals. When Jenny gets a job across the country and breaks up with her boyfriend of 9 years, she and her pals decide to have one last outrageous adventure in New York. The movie releases on 19 April.
This is another film about friendship; this one celebrates a 50th birthday. The film’s director and producer Amy Poehler also stars in the film, which also stars Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer, Paula Pell, Maya Rudolph, Emily Spivey, and Tina Fey.
Sasha (Ali Wong) and Marcus (Randall Park) are childhood friends who fall in love as adults; in very different social and economic situations. He is a struggling musician and she is a celebrity chef. The film also stars Keanu Reeves, Daniel Dae Kim and Karan Soni.
Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston star in this comedy suspense film. Sandler is a policeman who finally takes his wife on a trip to Europe. On the flight they get invited to a party aboard a billionaire's yacht. When the billionaire is murdered, the needle of suspicion points towards them.
Based on Shakespeare's play Henry the IV, this adaptation of the play will release later in 2019. King Henry V will be played by Timothée Chalamet, Joel Edgerton will be Falstaff and Robert Pattinson will be The Dauphin in the film
It was a huge cinematic coup for Netflix when it managed to rope in Martin Scorsese for this epic biographical crime film based on the book I Heard You Paint Houses by Charles Brandt.
Amazingly the film will star Robert De Niro as Frank Sheeran, Al Pacino as Jimmy Hoffa as well as others such as Joe Pesci, Harvey Keitel, Anna Paquin.
