Sultan - Recently released Salman Khan starrer movie came into controversy just before the release due to his comment, when he compared his experience in the movie to the 'Raped Women'.
Udta Punjab - The movie remained in controversies and all thanks to censor board, who suggested 89 cuts in the movie as it was based on the drug menace in Punjab.
Dilwale - There were many people who protested against the movie due to Shah Rukh Khan's statement just before the release - "religious intolerance and not being secular is the worst kind of crime that you can do as a patriot".
Bajrangi Bhaijaan - This movie also created controversies before the release due to its title. Many people protested against the movie for changing the movie title, but still it was not affected and became the highest grossing movie of the year.
Bajirao Mastani - After the release of the song 'Pinga' many people lashed out at the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for featuring the song in the wrong manner.
Ram-Leela - A FIR was lodged against the movie before the release, due to the highly objectionable trailer, movie title and pictures which offended the Hindu sentiments.
PK - Before the release, many people protested against the movie as they insulted the Hindu religion and rituals, but still it turned out to be a blockbuster all over the country.
