Bollywood movie Phillauri starring Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh was recently released all over the country and actor Suraj Sharma surprised everyone with his appearance in this movie. We still don't believe he is the same guy that we saw in the movie Life of Pi.
He made his acting debut at the age of 18 with the Life of Pi and stole the limelight with his amazing performance. But, now he is all set to begin his new journey in Bollywood with Phillauri.
In this movie, he is playing the character of a goofy NRI, who returns to his homeland, looking for a bride.
Talking about his new journey he said, "I wanted a film that bridges the Western idea of cinema or performance with Bollywood sensibility".
After his blockbuster movie Life of Pi, he did a few Hollywood projects such as Million Dollar Arm and Burn Your Maps. Besides this, he also featured in the famous TV show, Homeland (Season 4).
Now, he is back in India and is looking for more opportunities in Bollywood. We wish him all the best and hope to see him do well in Bollywood.
