If you have watched Rang De Basanti (2006) starring Aamir Khan, Siddharth Narayan, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kapoor, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Atul Kulkarni then you would remember this British actress Alice Patten.
She played the role of a powerful character - Sue McKinley in this movie, who comes to India to make a film on Indian freedom fighters based on diary entries by her grandfather.
Well, it has been 11 years since the release of 'Rang De Basanti' and here's what she is up to these days.
She was doing theater in the UK before bagging this role opposite Aamir Khan. Therefore 'Rang De Basanti' was her first film and we must say her acting was very good.
After this big break in Bollywood, she appeared as Thea in Hedda, a new version of Ibsen's Hedda Gabler, at London's Gate Theatre in 2008.
While in 2009, she had a guest appearance in the BBC fantasy drama series Merlin in which she portrayed the role of Ygraine, the wife of Uther Pendragon and mother of Arthur.
She also appeared in TV shows like Heroes And Villains, Mistresses, and Downton Abbey.
We don't see her too often in the main frame or in media/news now, but, we would love to see her again in Bollywood movies.
