MS Dhoni And His Untold Business Ventures

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one of the best cricketers around the world with a huge fan following. India has won many tournaments and leagues under his captaincy. In 2016, he took retirement from captaincy and handed it over to Virat Kohli. It's great to see him play under Virat with the same passion.

He has maintained his reputation of Captain Cool throughout his career. But, did you know that he ventured into some businesses also? It is said that over forty percent of his total annual revenue is from these ventures, which are as follows:

SportsFit

Being a sports person, he is well aware of the fact that fitness is paramount for sportpersons around the world. Therefore, he launched a fitness centre SportsFit with his business manager Arun Pandey in 2012, aiming to establish 200 fitness centres accross the country.

Mahi Racing India

His love for bikes and race is very well known to the public. But, did you know he owns his very own racing team with the name of Mahi Racing Team India? He launched this team in July 2012 with actor Nagarjuna Akkineni in the management of the team.

Ranchi Rays

In 2014, he joined hands with Sahara India Pariwar to buy the franchise rights and launched his Hockey team in the Hockey India League with the name, Ranchi Rays.

Cheenaiyin FC

Along with Abhishek Bachchan and Vita Dani of Asian Paints, he co-founded the multi-crore Chennai Football Team in 2014. His main purpose to invest in this team was to help Indian football at a grass-root level, spreading awareness and encouraging the younger generation of India
