Katrina Kaif - She started modelling at the age of 14 probably to support her family. During a fashion week in London filmmaker Kaizad Gustad spotted her and decided to cast her.
Dia Mirza - She gave up on higher education because she wanted to be a professional model and later she won the Miss Asia-Pacific title in 2000. She then made her Bollywood debut with the film 'Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein' opposite R. Madhavan in 2001.
Randeep Hooda - He completed his studies from Melbourne in Australia, after which he returned to India and began modelling and acting on stage. Hooda made his Bollywood debut with Mira Nair's 'Monsoon Wedding' in 2000.
Neha Dhupia - Her modelling career didn't last long but it did help her with acting in films. She won the Femina Miss India title in 2002 and then she made her Bollywood debut with 'Qayamat' in 2003.
Siddharth Malhotra - He started modelling at the age of 18 and then switched to Bollywood with his debut film 'Student Of The Year' in 2012.
Bipasha Basu - She was spotted by model Mehr Jesia Rampal at a hotel in Kolkata, and suggested that she try modelling . Then in 1996, she won the Godrej Cinthol Supermodel Contest and the Ford Supermodel of the World contest. She then began receiving offers for film roles, and made her acting debut with a negative role in the 2001 film 'Ajnabee', for which she also won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
Milind Soman - Who is an Indian supermodel, actor, film producer, fitness promoter and is known for his films like 'Bajirao Mastani', 'Jodi Breakers' and 'Bheja Fry', has now become a youth icon. He started his journey as a model and now he is inspiring people to stay fit and healthy.
Juhi Chawla - She started her career as a model and was crowned Miss India in 1984. She eventually became one of the leading stars in Bollywood.
