After her schooling, she did a basic fashion designing course and then completed her acting course from 'Kishore Namit Kapoor Institute' and 'London Film Institute'.

She always wanted to start her career with light-hearted cinema, that's why she opted to debut with “Second Hand Husband”. According to her, its a romantic comedy movie with good songs.

During an interview she said that she neither has friends in Bollywood nor was she brought up in an environment of ‘Filmy’ parties.
