Martin's series of fantasy novels "A Song of Ice and Fire". And, when it comes to the fascinating fan theories related to the series or any latest update, it goes viral on social media within no time.

But did you know that the dresses and swords which were used in this TV show they were all made in India? Yes, it is true and this made us research a little more about other interesting facts. We found out that this TV series has another connection with India and we are sure you had no idea about it.

Well, actor Conan Stevens, who played the character of ‘Mountain’ in the first season of Game of Thrones, has a Bollywood connection and shares a bond with many Bollywood celebrities.

Apparently, he has done three Bollywood films and has shared screen space with Bollywood actors such as Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan. Isn’t it fascinating? We are sure you also didn’t see that coming from anywhere.

He made his first Bollywood debut with a 2008 film "Drona", starring Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles. In this film, he played the character of “Asura” aka “Demon” alongside Abhishek Bachchan.

Later, he acted with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar in his 2009 film “Chandni Chowk to China“ and played the character of Joey (the fighter with white hair) in this film. He also appeared as the fighter Luca in his 2015 film ‘Brother’ with Siddharth Malhotra.

Recently in an Interview with Hindustan Times, the actor Conan Stevens shared his experience working in Hindi films and said that he is a huge fan of Bollywood and always wanted to work with such Bollywood actors.

In his words, he told the media that “I had seen Amitabh in movies before but never really recognized him. Black was the first modern movie I saw him in, and wow! I know it did not do too well in cinemas but what a great movie. Very well-received by the critics and rightly so. I think this movie raised international expectations of Hindi films from a mad rush to marry with song and dance erupting out of nowhere to that India can produce very serious dramatic films.”

He further added “The stars of Indian cinema seem to take the job on as more than a job, it seems to me that they try to live as large as the roles they play. They sing and dance, do their own stunt work, they really take it upon themselves to work as hard as they possibly can at being the role model they pretend to be onscreen. And all of whom I have met are absolute gentlemen in the traditional English sense. It really has been a pleasure to work with everyone I have so far met, and I must admit I have learned and do try to emulate them in this way.”
