On being asked why it took her so long to sign another film, she said "I was waiting for the right kind of role and script and that's what happened with Happy Bhaag Jayegi."
Talking about her character in this movie, she said, "My character here is very different from Cocktail. Mira and Happy are poles apart. Happy is very confident and not bothered about anything happening around her".
The film is directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Aanand L Rai. Looks like its going to be a comeback of sorts for Abhay Deol too, who was last seen in a movie two years ago.
