'Sultan' has turned out to be the biggest hit of this year. But, did you know that Anushka Sharma, who is the main leading actress in this movie, was not the first choice for the movie 'Sultan'?

It is said that initially, producer Aditya Chopra wanted Parineeti Chopra to play the role, but it didn't happen.

According to some sources, Salman himself had offered Urvashi Rautela to do this role in 'Sultan', but she rejected it as she was busy with her Miss Universe pageant.

The makers also tried to get Priyanka Chopra on the board but she was busy with her Hollywood project, and therefore she had to reject the offer.

They also thought about Deepika Padukone for the role, but she was also busy with her Hollywood project.

Kangana Ranaut was also approached for the role but the actress rejected it because of her date issues.

Ankita Lokhande also tried to grab the role in 'Sultan' and gave the audition, but she was not able to grab the attention of the makers.

And finally, the role went to Anushka Sharma and she did it really well.
