7 Assistants Who Made It Big in Bollywood

Varun Dhawan - He assisted Karan Johar in 'My name is Khan' in 2010 and made his acting debut with Karan Johar’s 2012 film 'Student of the Year'. Since then he has appeared in various movies like 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania', 'Badlapur' and 'Dishoom', in which he showed his true talent.

Arjun Kapoor - He was an assistant director for Nikhil Advani in his films 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' and 'Salaam-e-Ishq'. He made his acting debut with 'Ishaqzaade' in 2012, since then he has gathered much attention of the audience with his acting skills.
