Starred Messages - You can use this feature to bookmark a chat/message that you would like to check or access later. Just go to Menu > Starred Messages.
Mark Messages as Read or Unread - This helps you manually mark the chat as read or unread. Its quite helpful when you want to respond to a chat later. Just long -press on a chat message and tap “Mark as Unread" or "Mark As Read".
Link Previews - Everytime you post a link on a chat, it will now also include a preview with an image from the article, the title/headline and the URL.
Easier Way to Clear Chats - You don't have to spend time deleting/clearing one chat at a time. This feature will help you clear all your chats in one go. You just need to choose from the options provided. Go to Menu > Settings > Chats and Calls > Chat History > Clear All Chats.
Back Up Chats to Google Drive - This feature lets you automatically backup your chat logs to Google Drive, which is an easier & better way to do it. Go to Menu > Settings > Chats & Calls > Chat Backup > Google Drive Settings & set it up.
