The World's 10th Highest Paid Actress Is From Bollywood! Can You Guess Who?

It is our very own DP aka Deepika Padukone! She is not just Bollywood's highest paid actress, but she is also one of the 10th highest paid actresses across the globe! According to Forbes, she is the only Indian listed there with an earning of about $ 10 Million! 

With her applaudable performances in movies like Bajirao Mastani and Piku, we were quite sure about her successful endeavors, but as fierce competitors, we were also expecting PC aka Quantico-star Priyanka Chopra on the list. However, PC failed to make it to the list this time.

Forbes describes this pretty lady as the one who has"scored box office gold". Further, as per the reports, though she has been paid slightly less than her Hollywood co-actresses, Deepika “compensates with over a dozen lucrative endorsements”, which “have helped her hedge against a deep pay gap in Bollywood”.

This Bangalore-bred actress who made her debut against the King of Romance, Shah Rukh Khan in 'Om-Shanti-Om', has since starred in several films that have crossed the $150 million or 100 crore mark “a barometer for box office success in India”, Forbes mentioned. 

Deepika has really been one of the incredible actresses! She has been listed amongst the top 22 Women Achievers by Outlook Business! She will be next seen in 2017 in xXx: Return of Xander Cage. 

Well, it would not be wrong to call her that! Furthermore, Deepika has always been a star for the Indian youth! Queen of Hearts, as she has been rightly called, she has touched millions of hearts with her suave personality. 

The list was headed by Jennifer Lawrence with a total earnings of $46 million. She has topped the list, second year straight! Out of the 10 member list, 30% are non U.S. with Deepika being the only newcomer. Chinese actress Fan Bingbing, makes it for the second consecutive year while Charlize Theron, a dual South African/American citizen, returns to the list for the first time since 2013.
