Tooter Is the ‘Swadeshi Twitter’ – The Tweeple Had Lots to Say

The Tooter homepage has Made in India emblazon ed on it. This is the “Swadeshi social network” that welcomes us all to “Swadeshi Andolan 2.0”. The service bears a marked resemblance to the microblogging site Twitter – in its name as well as its features. According to reports, Tooter has been around since July, however, it only recently caught the attention of people. It goes without saying that the tweeple had some obvious comparisons to make between Twitter and Tooter.

Desi version of Twitter

People are calling it the desi version of Twitter. Many of the top leaders of the country and many other members of the ruling party are said to have accounts on this platform.
