One of the most profit making team is our very own King Khan’s team. Yes, you are right, its Shahrukh Khan’s Kolkata Knight Riders. KKR, in their first edition of IPL, earned the profit of Rs 11 crores and was also the highest profit earner through advertisement and sponsors in the other 2 editions. The numbers are increasing every year and there’s no end to it.

In 2014 -15 KKR made the profit of Rs 14.15 crores during their match in Eden Garden. According to Financial Reports, some of the heavy IPL franchises such as Mumbai Indians, Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bangalore were yet to achieve this profit.

The rise of revenue of the organisation which runs KKR, Knight Riders Sports Private Limited was outstanding from Rs 128.81 crores to Rs 168.71 crores in 2014 when they won their second IPL . After few years, another victory came to them and profit rose to Rs 14.15 crores compared to back in 2013 where their profit was Rs 9.19 crores.

Star power? Maybe!

Is that SRK power? Maybe!

Big teams with talented packs like Royal Challengers Bangalore where Virat Kohli is leading, outstanding West Indies player Chris Gayle and AB De Villiers are in one team, even they didn’t make such good profit in the period between 2011 and 2014.

Be that as it may, one team that is ruling the profit charts is our King Khan’s team and there seems no end to it. Maybe until Salman Khan buys a team. What say?
