As a result, we Indians are not very familiar with Pak cricketers or the series they may be playing. Though Indian cricket fans may not be paying close attention to the ongoing Pakistan tour of Australia, this story caught people’s eye.
Some of the Pakistani cricketers asked their cabbie to take them to a good restaurant in Brisbane. When the Indian origin Sikh cabbie refused to charge them for the ride, they asked him to join them for dinner.
There are some cricket fans who believe that players should concentrate on training and winning matches only. They feel players shouldn’t waste time in enjoyment, eating out and other such frivolities.
They thought it was just a really nice story.
