Every year the humble tomato starts to act rather pricey at some point. This year is no different. Tomato prices are climbed to almost a hundred rupees a kilo in some parts of the country and it hurts a lot of the mango people. Since there is little else we can do about rising prices, we make/share memes about the tomato price rise. Right now tomato is the new petrol, say the tweeple:
