This Rendition Of The National Anthem Will Make Every Indian, Wherever They Are, Stand Up With Pride

Today, on 70th Independence Day, every corner of every street will remind you of our Independence from the British Raj. Like every festival, this national festival has also got some traditions, one of those impeccable traditions is the rendition of our very own National Anthem.

From the time when it was first sung at the annual session of Indian National Congress, which was held at Kolkata during 1912 till today, there are multiple sterling and melodious versions of this beautiful song written as a tribute to our country by Shri Rabindranath Tagore.

The beauty can't die

This beautiful rendition which was first released in 2011, sung by 39 incredible musicians including, Dr. Balamuralikrishna, Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Pandit Jasraj, Jagdit Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, Kailash Kher, Hariharan, Usha Uthup, Sonu Nigam, P Susheela and Kavita Krishnamuri, is surely an ultimate tribute to the country!

This 10 minute video is as incredible as our country. It also provides the English translation of each stanza by Harshavardan Neotia. And trust me, it is equally inspirational and beautiful. The words by Harshvardhan beautifully encapsulate the diversity of our nation and weave an enchanting magic while intricately explaining the meaning of each stanza.

We hope you enjoyed it.
