On September 7 Comes The iPhone 7

Apple finally confirms the launch of iPhone 7 in San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, on Wednesday, 7th September, 2016. It's an open secret that the event will launch iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Following the event, the pre-orders for iPhone 7 will start from Friday, 9th September and the sales are expected to commence one week later, around 16th September.

What should we expect

If we believe in the rumours, iPhone 7 is expected to have a modest update in its features, with the design continuing to be similar to iPhone 6s. The shape is going to be more or less the same, however there is possibly going to be a camera that protrudes. The antenna bands across the back of the Smartphone has been removed. But we may still see it at the top, bottom and on the side of the iPhone.

Sleeker design

Apple has also aimed at making iPhone 7 upto 1mm thinner, possibly with the removal of 3.5mm headphone jack and the addition of a thinner lighting port.

The specs

There is not much insight on the iPhone 7 specifications, however it is rumoured to have a 2GB RAM and internal storage at 32 GB. The iPhone will also be available at variants 64GB and 256GB. Now that's what we call huge.

The price tag

The alleged prices of this yet to launch iPhone 7 were leaked on a Chinese microblogging website, Weibo. The base 32GB version of iPhone7 is rumoured to be priced at Rs 53,000, while the 64GB and 256GB versions Rs 61,000 and Rs 71,000 respectively.
