Elon Musk is hugely popular among a particular segment of social media – he is an inventor, the maker of controversial statements, successful businessman and of course, tremendously rich. Others seem to hate the man – probably for those very reasons. In any case, everything that Elon Musk does or doesn’t do makes news. Now that he has overtaken the mighty Bill Gates as the second richest man in the world, his newsworthiness has increased.
While most the rest of the world was growing poorer during the pandemic, the opposite was happening to Elon Musk.

Elon Musk has now replaced Bill Gates as the second wealthiest man in the world.
Gates is admired not just for this talent, business knowhow and immense wealth, but also for his philanthropy and humanitarian work.
Considering the fact that Gates routinely gives away large portions of his wealth for humanitarian work, he probably will not mind.
Musk has now joined the very elite club of the super-wealthy.
Many of us wonder, what exactly does Musk do to have amassed all this wealth?
Microsoft is a brand we all know; Gates is responsible for creating products we all use. How did Musk do it, though?
The owner of Tesla and much else besides, Musk added over $100 billion to his wealth, chiefly because of the increase in the value of his company shares.
