The Jungle Book, was originally penned by Rudyard Kipling and was first made into an animated film by Disney which had songs like “Trust in Me” and “Bear Sessame”. Now Disney has made it into a major feature film, directed by the talented Jon Favreau who had directed movies such as Iron Man and Chef, the movie has just one human actor – Neel Sethi. Neel is playing the character of Mowgli, the kid who got abandoned in the jungle. All the major animal characters such as Baloo the bear, Bagheera the panther, Kaa the python and SherKhan the tiger were created with the help of CGI.
As a matter of fact, for us Indians, The Jungle Book movie would have been incomplete without our beloved song, “Jungle jungle baat chali hai pata chala hai”, from the 90’s hit TV series by the same name. Hence Gulzaar (who composed the original jingle) and Vishal Bharadwaj have composed a new version of the song which is going viral on the internet in India and is making all of the kids from the 90’s very nostalgic .
You can hear/watch the new version of the song which was released on Youtube on March 21,2016

The movie is releasing in India on 8 April, 2016 and we can’t wait to revisit our childhood days again.
