A parent tweeted this video of an ice resurfacing machine on a hockey rink. The video went viral for obvious reasons – it is an ice machine that caught fire, for goodness’ sake!
No one was injured, which owes itself in large part to the fact that the machine operator concentrated on getting the machine to a safe place.
Except it clearly isn't!
The driver of the machine – typically known as a Zamboni – seemed to be something of a daredevil.

If there is a fire, doesn’t it make sense to get out of there? It does. However, the fact that so many chose to stay there and film the incident points to the reality of our social media-obsessed times.
People were worried about what happened next. Turns out the machine operator kept his cool and drove to the parking bay where the fire was put out.
