There is something utterly fascinating about the idea of visitations from outer space; about intelligent life forms seeking out us earthlings. Over the years, there have been numerous incidents that we have been unable to explain; which have been attributed to aliens. Something similar happened in #Bangalore recently, and people were convinced that #Aliens had come visiting.
Bangalore heard a loud booming sound; in fact it was more than one loud ‘bang’.
There was a huge blast-like sound that scared the people of #Bangalore. #Aliens – this was the first thing that occurred to some.
This was another popular theory.
For a while, there was a lot of confusion about the reason behind the really loud sounds.
It was a sonic boom from the Sukhoi 30 that caused the sound. A clarification to this effect was issued.
It was expected that many would be offering their own theories; in other words, offering gyaan.
Here, actor/comic Danish Sait hilariously does various different accents to explain the many theories.
With the amount of speculation as to the cause behind the noise; a clarification was necessary.

This twitter user was of the view that the #SonicBoom caused many to come out of their houses needlessly during the lockdown.

This Twitter user suggested that the people of Bangalore may not be too hospitable towards aliens.
Some felt that aliens may also be welcomed in India – after all, atithi devo bhava is an Indian concept.

There were those who couldn’t be bothered less.
