Some feel that dopamine rush when they smell fresh baked cookies, others get it by gambling. Me, I go online shopping for bargains to get my daily dopamine hit. Even buying groceries online and chew-bones for my dog are delightful activities for my possibly abnormal brain. So it goes without saying that I take my time shopping for stuff – I check out specs, compare products and prices on different sites and of course, I check out reviews. Every now and again I see funny/sarcastic/deliberately exaggerated reviews that help make up my mind. Check out these funny Amazon reviews:
This product has taken on a mythical life of its own and has spawned a sub-genre of online content: the funny Amazon review, videos, reels and more. There can be other views and divergence in families – as this hilarious review and accompanying image prove.
Milk is milk is milk, right? Of course not. There is skimmed, toned, full milk etc. And then there is Tuscan whole milk. This is the product that took on a life of its own after some funny reviews like this and some elaborate accompanying images shot it to fame.
‘For her’ ball pens? Why? What does she need in a pen that he doesn’t? Apparently it was meant as a joke and it kind of stuck. Not only do they have elaborately funny reviews, they have some very arch, tongue-in-cheek product questions and answers as well: like those above.
It is difficult to imagine what precise circumstances and which precise group of people would find need for advice about avoiding huge ships. Also, what enormous amount of information is it that needs a whole book to impart? In the event nearly all the reviews on the page are joke reviews.
If you're wondering what in heaven is this thing, it is, hold your breath – a tray for your laptop while you drive. It fits on to a steering wheel of a car. There are a lot of funny reviews but some reviews are such that one cannot tell whether they are in jest or in earnest.
This product is discontinued by the manufacturer but continues to be listed on amazon.com. why? Probably because of the rather amazing reviews this common or garden variety of connector cable received in the past.
Mask for a horse or mask for a person? Either way, the question begs to be asked – why! When someone makes a product like this, they should expect funny amazon reviews like this I suppose.
