Ride the World's Longest Zipline and More In the UAE

You will perhaps need nerves of steel as you whiz down at electric speeds on zip wire and battle dizzying heights. Ziplining is a whole new ball game for adrenaline seekers. But for people who like to knowingly grapple with danger the thrill is as good as it gets even if you have to shell out a few hundred dollars for a brief but terrifying ride. Here are some fantastic rides that you must try in the UAE especially if you are an adventure junkie.

The Ras Al Khaimah Zipline

The Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) zipline has earned itself a Guinness book of world record for being the longest Zipline in the world. At a staggering 2.8 kms, it is equivalent to 28 soccer fields end to end. Not only this but this super racy and adrenaline packed adventure will allow racers to throttle at speeds of 150 kms per hour, face down in a super hero position. With two lines to share with family and friends and also for moral support, it does not get better than this. The RAK tourism development authority has left no stone unturned to offer an attractive package. For people who can afford it, ziplining here includes a helicopter ride to and from the destination, with trained zipliners managing the line. The turnover from one rider to the other is very fast at just 5 minutes gap. The zipline at RAK is different from its cosmopolitan counterparts. Bereft of towers, the starting and finish point are right in between the Rocky Mountains offering its riders a panoramic view and also a good height of 1680 metres above sea level.
