It is believed that the person in the middle of these selfies is the first one to die and that too soon.

Thunder roll at Funerals

Grumbling of clouds and rain is considered to be a good sign that shows the deceased person's soul reaching heaven. But if it is followed by thunder rolls, it suggests that the soul is still on Earth. 

Holding breathe while crossing cemetry

This is done to avoid souls from following you. On a lighter note, people feel that breathing in front of the dead is disrespecful. 

Covering mirrors near dead body

This is done in front of a dead body because many people believe that when a soul leaves a body, it gets trapped in the mirror and stays on earth. 

Closing the eyes of the deceased

Many people believe that having eye contact with the dead might invite their soul. Hence, eyes are closed immediately. 

Dogs barking at night

Dogs howling and barking at night is seen as a bad sign that brings death. 

Bat entering home

Bats at home are considered a bad omen since they are seen as blood sucking creatures from the caves.
