It is that time of year when people around know to keep out of my way, because in the extreme heat, I may just bite the head off some poor unsuspecting soul without much provocation. When we talk heatwave in India, it’s not some wishy-washy 35 degrees that Americans think of as a heatwave; Indian heatwaves are hardcore. If you're like me and the heat is too much for you, you'll identify with these heatwave memes:

According to some reports, Delhi is likely to get some respite in the heat over the next few days. A few clouds, some rain, even a thunderstorm to make the dust settle… right now we’d be grateful for anything!
