You know they con us into buying an anti wrinkle cream that will make the significant other fall in love with us again and then sell you yet another highly expensive under eye product which is supposed to do the same precise job? Every now and again they come out with more cosmetic products that promise to do amazing things for us. With thousands of products already available, do we need yet more? Apparently we do!
Call me clueless, but I have not fully understood the reason for using a lip liner in addition to a lipstick. Now apparently we have a clear lip liner. It’s supposed to prevent lipstick from feathering. Err… what?
These go under the eyes to protect against ‘messy fallout situations’ whatever those are. What a very, very specific, exceedingly superfluous product!
This product promises to transform cream based or glossy lipstick into matte. All well and good, but if one doesn’t like glossy lipsticks, there is a very simple solution: don’t buy them! Much better solution than buying something you don’t like and then buying something else to fix what you didn’t like!
It’s a three in one product: a pre-shave lather bar, a water spray to wet the area and two razor blades for shaving on the go. I cannot think of a single situation where this ‘lifesaver’ would save my life but I am sure there are plenty who found it life changing.
For when a damp napkin just won’t do! Ah! This was inspired by the eraser tool in Paint right? Maybe, maybe not – still cannot do anything that a damp napkin will not though.
So these are like baby wipes or hand wipes? Exactly, yes, but with prettier packaging and a way higher price point. That’s OK then.
Oh, here’s something for Delhi people? Not really, this is something that has something called ‘temperature control technology’ that prevents something called ‘midday makeup melt off’. It is makeup setting spray that protects makeup against pollution. How very useful! So you cake your face with layers of makeup then put on one more to protect those! Splendid!
This is a spray on hair dryer product. It is to be used after using a leave-in conditioner and before a blow dryer. Apparently it cuts drying time down to 5 minutes from 10 minutes. How amazing! Just $20 for the life altering product! Yay!
What’s wrong with the ones you get free from the hotel? Literally everything! They are noisy, they shift and they aren’t pretty enough! Apparently hair deserves more than a plastic bag – I evidently don’t respect my hair and I should be ashamed of it!
It has a light too! How wonderful! How completely unessential to literally everyone on earth!
Apparently ombré lip trend is a thing and this is the thing that helps with that thing. You could well ask why does the world need this? But then you could ask the same about practically any product in this list – I don’t know about you, but I plan to sail merrily though life never having used any of these ever.
