You Know You Are Middle Class (And Proud Of It) If You Had These While Growing Up

We have all grown up with a happy small knit family with tau, chacha, chachi dada, dadi and of course our parents. And even though we love to poke our nose into other people's lives and homes, at the grassroots level all families are the same. No doubt, it's these 'typical middle class people' that are often criticized and called 'LS' make the strongest bunch when they grow up.

So, what is it that makes all our families fundamentally the same and we really don't want it any other way.

1. The strict parent

This can be either the mother or the father. But in order to maintain stability, the disciplinarian is of vital importance.

2. The soft parent

To counter the strict parent, the soft and loving parent has been always well equipped with warm hugs and comfort. Again, this parent could be either mother or father.

3.The arguments

At least in the earlier stages of their life, an argumentative bunch of siblings is one of the defining elements of a middle class family.

4. The car

This is the car used for vacation, and it usually contains a whole array of good memories for the family it belongs to. The arguing children, included in this.

5. The house where everyone met

Unless they’re travellers, a house is also one of the memory ridden elements of a middle class family. Everyone grows up and makes fond memories here.

6.The feeling of responsibility

This feeling is intrinsic to a middle class family. One born into this family is automatically imbibed with the feeling of responsibility and care. This applies to money and ethics, alike.
