If his witty one liners aren’t enough, the cricket legend is back in his new avatar on television! Featuring in a new web series named Viru Ke Funde on Viu TV, Virendra Sehwag will be seen playing the lead character and we can’t wait!
The cricketer is handling too many things together. While he already impressed us with his commentary skills, his tweets are no less than epic! We are sure that the web series will bring his hidden acting skill to the forefront.
Although we have seen Sehwag delivering a few laughter punches here and there, his humor took an entirely new turn with his twitter handle making us shake with laughter.
He became country’s favourite twitter celebrity after replying to Piers Morgan in the best possible way. Although these spats were mean from the former’s side, our paji gave a fitting comeback that made the entire country gape with awe!
The web series is touted to be a humorous take on the everyday struggles of Sehwag’s friends in a Chai Pe Charcha kind of a format. This series would be of 15 episodes and five of them would be released together on Tuesday, 29th November.
Simple fundas will be shared by Sehwag that would make everyone relate with the format of the show and considering his popularity, we already know that the show is a hit.
This is not the first time when Viru featured on television. He was earlier seen in Vikram Sathaye’s show ‘What the Duck’ this very year.
With sportspersons making a mark on the small screen, we are absolutely sure of Virendra’s success on the idiot box too!
