We all cringe when someone sings or plays an instrument off-key don’t we? Well, apparently dogs also have such refined musical sensibilities. So this video of a man playing the harmonium and (trying) singing with a deeply distressed dog, went viral --- with good reason.
When I’d stopped laughing and wiped my eyes try I tried to actually listen to the man as he sings what appears to be a Ranu Mondal song to assess its musical merit or lack thereof. Truth be told I cannot make out whether or not the man is signing or playing off-key. The dog is making such a din of its own, that it’s all getting drowned out.
The video is barely half a minute long, but the dog seems unable to tolerate the discordant singing. Even in that duration, the dog has tried desperately to stem the noise emanating from the human being

The way that the dog is singing along, clearly he has some singing ambitions of his own.

Maybe the dog really wants to bite the man into silence – but then dogs are the most loyal of creatures…
This poor doggie is probably very unwell or has distemper, but the way someone has set it to dhol beats is objectively funny.
May be the dog will get a chance at playback singing, thinks this commentator.
