This Mom Had a Great Idea to Get Her Kids to Lie Down – Glow in the Dark PJs

Any parent knows how difficult it is to get their child to wind down and get to bed. Kids always seem to be besieged with serious FOMO when they are told that it is bedtime. There are always excuses and things to do right before bedtime. So when this woman had an idea about ways to get her kids to lie own and keep still, people were very appreciative:

“I'm not even sorry”

Massachusetts mum Jessica D’Entremont had this idea which was shared on social media.  She told her kids that they had to lie very still to “charge” their glow-in-the-dark pyjamas. Turns out this is a great way to get active kids to just lie still and wind down. And this mum wasn’t sorry about the little subterfuge she practised on her kids.

Devil in the details

The clever mum also made sure that her little story stood up to question that inquisitive little minds would pose.

Appreciation

There were lots of appreciative comments about this little white lie that a mum told her kids. Lots of people wished they had thought of it or that such glow in the dark PJs had been available when their kids were little.

“Read it on the internet”

That seems to be conclusive proof of authenticity these days, doesn’t it?

Innovative

The innovative idea was widely reported on social media and other media outlets.

Out of the box idea

Parents often find that no one idea works for very long --- kids tend to find a way around it. This is a great new idea said a lot of people and thought they were also going to try it out.

Other uses

Others wanted to know where these pyjamas were available.

Prompt reply

Others helpfully shared details of online shopping solutions for parents who wanted glow in the dark PJs.

Other uses

Glow in the dark PJs may also help kids feel safer in the dark --- this may also work to get kids to calm down and get to sleep.

This mum's experience

This mother felt that her kids slept in longer thanks to the glow in the dark pyjamas that she got them. It seems that poor sleep-deprived parents with active kids are willing to try anything to get their tykes into bed and to sleep peacefully.
