The story traces the life of an overweight girl who has to face new challenges every day due to her physical appearance, but she does it with utmost confidence and breaks several stereotypes in the society.

Talking about her character, she said, "I am extremely excited to be playing Komal as such characters seldom get written in our industry. Badho is someone we can all identify with — there is innocence, vulnerability, spunk and a whole myriad of feelings in her. The show itself has a lot of warmth and heart to it which I hope the audience enjoys"
Talking about his role in the new TV show, Prince said, "There are a lot of similarities between Prince and Lucky. So much so that the makers could have just named the character Prince. Lucky is a bindaas, happy-go-lucky guy who has worked hard to prove his might in wrestling. He has a mind of his own. How he finds himself married to someone who is definitely not the girl of his dreams and his struggle to come to terms with this reality makes the show endearing and real."
