The name of the new game seems to be a deliberate hat tip to PUBG. It appears to be about Indian soldiers banding together to defeat the enemy. The game is developed under the mentorship of actor Akshay Kumar who tweeted the FAU-G teaser trailer.
They welcomed the new offering from their screen idol.
Many have been waiting for the game.
They were happy to see the trailer of a game like this, which will be available in single and multiple player modes to begin with.
The game has been developed in and by Indians.
Not only that, 20% of the revenue garnered is to be donated to the Bharat ke Veer trust which supports soldiers.
The game will come out in November it has been announced.
Someone thought that a character in the game looked familiar.
It is PUBG they play, and PUBG they like. Nothing else will take its place – either on their device or in their heart.
As is the case with anyone remotely related to Bollywood, Akshay Kumar – otherwise known for making nationalistic films – came in for some fire for his supposed suspect credentials.
While Kumar is known for making /acting in films with patriotic themes, he is also thought to hold a Canadian passport. This leads many to conclude that his nationalism is hollow; something that he utilizes for personal enrichment.
The FAUG game seems designed to fill the void left by PUBG.
Some felt that the game graphics are poor compared to other games of this genre.
Some had expected more.
What’s this! Those who are used to playing PUBG are not impressed.
Whether its PUBG or FAU-G – parents are still not pleased.
While some are very disappointed with the FAU-G teaser trailer, others feel confident that the game will improve and want to support the Indian game released by Akshay Kumar.
