The Abu Dhabi Dream Ball is to be a unique social event is set to take place in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is an endeavour that seeks to raise money for a very worthy cause. Here is what you need to know about the upcoming event scheduled to take place at the end of January 2019.
This is to be the first ever Abu Dhabi Dream Ball and will take place on 31st January 2019. It is organised by a philanthropic group called Sawtouna in conjunction with UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund). Sawtouna is a group of Abu Dhabi women working for women and children through the support of key charities and foundations in the area and internationally.
This inaugural fundraiser for UNICEF is hosted by Harper's Bazaar Arabia along with the philanthropic organisation. The aim of the event is to help educate as many as 5,000 refugee children from war-torn areas. It is to give them a realistic shot at a better present and a better, safer future.
The UAE Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development H.E. Noura Al Kaabi, is the patron for the fundraiser. Members of the group Sawtouna are working to make the event a success.
The event is expected to be attended by several members of the royalty, celebrities and other distinguished members of society. The event will be hosted by Raya Abirached and Rosemin Madhavji.
The venue of the Abu Dhabi Dream ball is to be the regale Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi. This is a well-known luxury hotel of the city and one of the top rated palace hotels.
The evening will kick off with cocktails and then a welcome address by the hosts Raya Abirached and Rosemin Madhavji. This will be followed by a lavish meal and live auction. Then certain awards will be presented for humanitarian and charitable contributions. After this will be performances by Guy Manoukian, Fayez Al Saeed, The Ayoub Sisters, Eman Bisha, the Emirates Youth Symphony Orchestra and Layla Kardan.
Currently tickets for the event are available at select online locations. A regular seat costs AED 2,500 while a VIOP table of 10 costs AED 25,000 and a VVIP table of ten costs AED 50,000/-.
