Do Not Buy These To Give As Diwali Gifts. Please!

Just three days to Diwali is left and gifts have already started pouring it. From your chacha-chachi to various other relatives, everyone sends you a gift, now matter you love it or not. With big creepy smile, you accept these gifts from your fashion dead relatives and keep it somewhere in the corner of your house, with no bother in your heart. So if you are planning to gift someone this Diwali, avoid giving these gifts.

Crockery

This might be your mom’s favorate, but please get over from such crockery’s on Diwali. Getting atleast two to four set of crockery on every function or occasion, your kitchen shelf is stuffed with many crockery’s now.

Packed sweets

It all starts with you. You may still remember atleast one incident when you gifted some packed sweets to your relatives or friends on occasions. This time, no sweets please! Get over things because they are super luxurious chocolate celebration around.

Home appliances

I’m sure when you looking forward to give a Diwali gift, you are looking for a gift that looks good and fits your budget. Trying to convert a expensive appliance into a cheap one, is surely a bad idea. Stop giving cheap home appliances on Diwali, as most of the time they are faulty.

Dress material

Can we just get over this tradition? Gifting a dress material is simply outdated these days. Instead that gift them shopping gift vouchers for the same price.

Fake Silver Crockery and Coins

We simply know that these things aren’t made of real silver, so why faking? Stop gifting such useless gifts to people because it isn’t making anyone happier either.

Jewelry

This is a fancy gift which should be given under special circumstances and not on festival. Good jewelry is super expensive and I’m sure you don’t love your relatives so much to give them gold jewelry on Diwali.

Bed sheets

Bed sheets have always been there as a permanent solution when you aren’t able to find something good. Gift some modern home decor things instead.

Pack of cold drinks and chips

Sometimes relatives get indulged deeply in gifting some ridiculous things under the wrapped box. Sometimes, it is a pack of cold drinks and chips which you get at market as combo pack.

Coffee mugs

Coffee Mug’-giver is the one kind of acquaintance you shouldn’t associate with.  Coffee mugs are the king of all generic gifts which also marks the late gift buyer.

Photo frames

When you are not sure about the likes and standard of the person you are gifting to, don’t give such gifts. Avoid giving photo frames to a person on Diwali because he is left with no option rather than passing on to other person.
