I love trailers don’t you? I love watching them at the beginning of a movie and in the interval; I love finding out about a new trailer that dropped and started to trend on YouTube. I like teaser trailers a little less, but I still like them. The much awaited Spiderman Far from Home teaser trailer dropped and a lot of people were hugely interested! Here is the trailer, characters, plot lines and some of the reactions to it:
This is MCU franchise’s 23rd film and the sequel to Spiderman Homecoming. This is of course Tom Holland as the latest Spiderman after Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. In this film Spidey is going to Europe on a school trip. We are also informed that Nick Fury features in this film and it is hinted that Marisa Tomei (Aunt May) may have a romantic interest in this film.
Every Marvel fan worth their salt knows the enormity of the words – I don’t feel so good – spoken by Spiderman right before he turns into dust in the arms of Ironman in Avengers Infinity War. People are feeling considerably better about this teaser trailer. There is conjecture that this film will end where the last Avengers film began.
As with Spiderman Homecoming, this film has a diverse cast with Siderman's best friend being Asian, Zendaya who plays MJ being of European and African American descent.
Though many don’t like what they see as ‘tinkering’ with the original characters of the film, most others have welcomed the representative nature of the cast. The film looks and feels real and very now. Most people like the fact that the film looks much as it would for a kid in school in New York.
Much to the delight of many Marvel fans, Samuel L. Jackson is back as Nick Fury, the former director of S.H.I.E.L.D in this film. He recruits Spiderman to help with battle the Elementals, malevolent, destructive creatures that appear out of elements such as water and earth.
This is a supervillain of the Marvel universe and he makes his debut in this film, portrayed by Jake Gyllenhaal. In this film Spidey battles the Elementals. Mysterio is an expert on the Elementals and is recruited by Nick Fury to help Spider-Man battle against them.
A similar teaser was released as the international version of the trailer, with a little bit of extra footage.
