1. Where did all these cars come from?

You are totally in awe of the sheer volume of traffic on the roads. It never ceases to amaze you and at times you even feel intimidated especially while having to cross a busy street.
2. You still travel long distances for simple things

Grabbing things from your neighbourhood shop just doesn't come naturally you. There's always that shop that gives a discount and is at least 30 minutes from your place. Old habits die hard, but you'll get used to saving time eventually.

4. You find people indifferent and cold

When you live in a small town, everyone knows your business and even your teachers know every student personally. Now nobody knows your name. Pretty sad, but you'll love the privacy after a while.

Back home on every Friday, everyone shuts down their work and stops to watch the local game or theater being held in the town. Here, everybody closes their work and goes partying.
You don't know about the latest trends and don't care much

7. You seem to have an uncle, aunt or cousin everywhere

Because you are somehow related to everyone in the town back home, you may have hundreds of sisters, brothers, and aunts in the big city.
8. You miss being part of the history of the place

Every street in the town is dedicated to some important old guy who died down the road from your house some 100 odd years ago. In the city the streets are names after very famous politicians, freedom fighters or kings.
9. School hadn't seemed as scary as college or office

Because you actually went to school with seven other kids from the town. Maybe from 7 different towns as well.
